Morgan L. Jusko, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral scholar on the T32 Developmental Alcohol Research Training (DART) Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interests broadly focus on improving the lives of individuals with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) across the lifespan by understanding the underlying etiology of the disorder (e.g., cognitive and motivational factors) and how these factors impact real-world outcomes (e.g., alcohol use, binge-drinking, driving).
Under the mentorship of Dr. Brooke Molina as well as Drs. Traci Kennedy and Sarah Pedersen, Dr. Jusko leverages existing longitudinal datasets (e.g., the Pittsburgh ADHD Longitudinal Study) to examine how cognition and motivation are related to adverse alcohol outcomes through sustained craving using multiple methods of data collection including surveys, clinical interviews, and ecological momentary assessment.
Dr. Jusko received her B.A. and M.A. from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, under the mentorship of Larry Hawk, Ph.D., and received her M.S. and Ph.D. from Florida International University under the mentorship of Drs. Joseph Raiker and Gregory Fabiano.
