Immunization Programs

Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program

Doctors that participate in the VFC Program are able to obtain free vaccines for their eligible patients.  Eligible children are able to receive free vaccines from birth through 18 years of age.  

The VFC Program covers all childhood vaccinations recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

Eligibility criteria includes the following:

  • Medicaid recipient
  • Uninsured
  • American Indian or Alaska Native (as defined by the Indian Health Services Act)
  • Underinsured (when a health insurance benefit plan does not include vaccinations)
