This section provides information on housing assistance programs in the greater Pittsburgh area.

HUD Public Housing Program

The purpose of the HUD Public Housing Program is to provide quality rental housing to low-income families at a cost that they can afford.

In order to qualify, you must need aid in obtaining decent, safe, and/or sanitary rental housing and fall within the low to very low income bracket.

Mon Valley Providers Council (MVPC) Housing Resource Guide

The Mon Valley Providers Council (MVPC) is a coalition of human service providers throughout the Mon Valley that have joined together to develop resources that fit the needs of the community. The MVPC has developed a Housing Resource Guide with excellent information on home ownership and other important housing information.
