Frances Wang, PhD

  • Assistant Professor of Psychiatry

Frances is an NIAAA T32 postdoctoral scholar at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Psychiatry. Her research focuses on genetic and environmental risk factors for alcohol use disorders. She is also particularly interested in understanding the causes of co-occurrence among mental health problems, with the ultimate goal of improving diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.

In her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants, playing with her cats, and spending time with friends and family.
