YFRP to participate in the Walk for Children's - June 23 2018

The Youth and Family Research Program will be participating in the Walk for Children’s (walkforchildrens.com) in Schenley Park on Saturday June 23, 2018.  We will be participating as "Team Joules" to reflect our shared clinical and research mission of helping those with ADHD channel their energy, focus, and motivation in healthy and positive directions.  In walking 2-3 miles through Schenley Park, we will raise money for Children’s Hospital, raise awareness of our collective work in the field of ADHD, and draw attention to the growing partnership between WPIC and Children’s Hospital.

Since the Walk for Children's began in 2016, the Walk has raised over $1.4 million dollars to support the kids at Children's.  The hospital is built entirely on the support of generous community members to provide hope to children and families throughout the region, allowing access to all children, regardless of their ability to pay.
